한국문화상품으로서의 침장소품디자인 분석

Design Research on Bed-item for Korean Culture Products

초록

This study is to research miscellaneous items in bedclothes for Korean cultural products. The purpose of the study is to suggest the concept of Korean bed-items and the way of brand development of Korean bed-items. And its aesthetic characteristics are researched. The vision of cultural products is suggested in the method of symbol and metonymy which mean cultural product area would be exaggerated, ‘contents.’ So, the works of cultural products will be developed toward what consumers really want with and which is emotional approach beyond specific goods. So the products are developed in a variety of program; customers could make an item for themselves or modern style design and the acceptance of practical modern items-blankets, cushions, an so on which are not existed in old times. Currently Korean costume designers, art experts and common customers who really like to make bed-items show their products which are generally made by hands. The designs are analyzed surface composition which comes from a northern and islamic culture and embroidery technique with desire by the person in Gyubang craft. The surface composition is modern art – Mondrian works which similar to Korean traditional works, “Jo-gak-bo.” The both of work-ways are made by hand. However the study is necessary to design textile printing on fabric out of handcraft work. The Korean bed-items as korean cultural products are buckwheat bolsters, sofa-cushions, sitting cushions and blankets. The study suggests that the extended design means to study textile printing with a various fabric which could make new style of Korean cultural products with variety. The product should include emotional value with a sort of festival, exhibition and event with a view of improving commercial value. And consumer should be participated in the way to make product which make a pleasure and they could make on-line community site which make a concern of Korean cultural products.
