This study aims to open up new possibilities of its design expression area, to expand utilization range and expression realm of creative and active knitwear, and to expand various pet dog's wear design by analyzing design features and status of pet dog's knitwear which are sold at premier shopping mall at home and abroad. Pet dog's knitwear is to be clothed clothes for dogs, and knit is a good item for action because it does not affect the movement of pet dog. In order to identify the kinds of pet dog's knitwear, kind of dog apparel shopping site on the web which are connected to ‘NAVER’ and ‘YAHOO’ were investigated. In this study, it was investigated a total of 641 items of sweaters oriented. Knitting by machinery was 613 (95.6%) are most, and images of pet dog's knitwaear appeared pop-art, classic, feminine, folk-style, and modern in the order named. The types of pet dog's knitwear was classified as turtle neck outfit, round neck, hoody, dresses, jackets, all-in-one, and V-neck in the order. The patterns of pet dog's knitwear was classified as a one-point, traditional pattern, geometry, agail, artifacts, check, natural products, and lace patterns in the order. The design technique of pet dog's knitwear was classified as a color, solid, beading, embroidery, and patch work in the order. The aesthetic features of pet dog's knitwear is divided into infantility, character, events, function, and tradition. Pet dog's knitwear, which are excellent for fit and active, is expected to increase even more preferences and to be developed more by a mechanization of knit.
