공공기관에서 제공하는 교육용 웹의 현장 적용 효과성 분석: 법의식 함양을 중심으로

본 연구는 학교현장에서 이루어지는 법사랑 사이버랜드를 활용한 교육활동이 학생들의 법의식 함양에 효과가 있는지를 탐색하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 본 연구는 전국 46개 초등학교에 재학 중인 3,477명의 학생들(남 1776명, 여 1701명)을 대상으로 실시하였다. 또한 본 연구에서는 구조화된 법의식 설문지를 사용하였으며 학교현장에서 법사랑 사이버랜드를 활용하는 학생들로부터 자료를 수집하였다. 본 연구에서는 1) 법사랑 사이버랜드 사용 전후의 법의식 점수 차이, 2) 성별에 따른 차이, 3) 학년수준에 따른 차이를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 법사랑 사이버랜드 활용 전후의 법의식에 차이가 나타났다. 예를 들어, 학생들의 법에 대한 긍정적인 인식은 높아졌으며 부정적인 인식은 불법의식을 제외하고 감소한 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 학년에 따라 법사랑 사이버랜드 활용 효과에 차이가 있음을 파악할 수 있었다. 학년에 따른 법의식 평균 점수를 비교한 결과, 1, 2학년의 경우, 일부 영역에서 법사랑 사이버랜드 사용이 도리어 법의식의 저하를 유발한 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 학생의 성별은 법사랑 사이버랜드 활용에 따른 교육적 효과에 유의미한 영향을 미치지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 비록 본 연구가 학교현장에서의 웹의 교육적 활용이라는 준 실험설계를 기반으로 하고 있지만, 본 연구결과를 통해 법사랑 사이버랜드와 같은 교육용 웹의 효과적인 활용 가능성을 엿볼 수 있었다. 이 같은 연구결과를 토대로 학교현장에서 교육용 웹을 올바른 방향으로 실시하기 위한 방안을 제언하였다.
Abstract
The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of the law-related education activities using the public educational web for fostering students’ legal consciousness. Participants were selected among students of 46 elementary schools. The total number of participants was 3,477(male 1,776, female 1,701). Data from students were collected using structured questionnaires of legal consciousness. The current study was attempt to analyze 1)the difference of legal consciousness scores between before and after using ‘Law love cyber land’, 2)the effect of gender on before and after, 3)the effect of grade level. First, we found that differences in the perception of the law before and after using ‘Law love cyber land’. For example, positive perception of the law was increased and negative perception of the law was decreased, excluding illegal consciousness. Second, we could explore the difference of the using effect of ‘Law love cyber land’ depending on the grade. As comparison of results of the average score of legal consciousness for each grade, in grade 1st and 2nd, we found that the use of ‘Law love cyber land’ causes a decrease in legal consciousness. Third, the result from the current study showed that the effects of the law-related education activities using ‘Law love cyber land’ were not affected by gender. Although the current study was based on semi-experimental design for educational utilization of the web ‘Law love cyber land, we could find the potential of the web. This study produced additional practical implications.
