국내 지방대학교 관광계열의 교육서비스 품질이 학생만족도 및 이탈의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구

본 연구의 목적은 국내 지방대학의 관광계열 전공학생들이 인지하는 서비스품질이 학생만족 및 전공전환에 영향을 미치는 요인들을 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 바탕으로 지방 대학 특성화에 적합한 대학 교육서비스 품질경영 효율화에 도움을 주고자 한다. 연구의 결과를 요약하면 교육서비스 품질 요인 중 교육요인과 복지요인이 시설요인보다 강한 영향력을 보였으며, 인적요인은 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 가설 1에 대한 요인은 부분적으로 채택되었다. 따라서 교육요인과 복지요인은 학생 만족도의 지속적인 향상을 위해 고품질의 교육수준과 복지조건을 충족시켜대학 교육서비스 품질의 유지관리가 필요하다고 사료된다. 또한 학생만족도가 높을수록 이탈의도에 부(-)의 영향을미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 학생들의 전공 만족도가 높을수록 전공전환에 대해 고려하지 않는 다는 결과를 의미하는 것으로 전공학생들의 만족도를 높여 학생들의 이탈 방지를 위해 각 학과에서는 교육서비스 품질에 대한 최우선적인 노력이 필요할 것으로 보인다. 특히, 호텔관광계열 학생들은 재학 중에 전문지식 및 직업에 대한 프로정신과 자긍심을 가져야 한다. 지방대학의 교육서비스 품질 향상을 위해서는 교육요인, 복지요인, 시설요인, 인적요인등 어느 하나 소홀한 부분이 없이 고품격, 고품질의 교육서비스를 제공을 통한 학생들의 만족도를 지속적으로 높이기 위한 노력이 필요하다고 사료된다.
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to identify the effects of university education service quality on the Tourism major student's satisfaction and switching intention. The results can be used to help local universities to efficiently manage their education service quality . In summary, in education service quality, welfare factor and education factor have stronger influence than facilities factors on the students’ satisfaction and their switching intention. However, human factors had no effects. In addition, it is shown that student satisfaction and switching intention have negative correlations, meaning that students rarely consider changing their major as they are highly satisfied with their major. That is, each department of university should make an intensive effort for quality of education service by increasing student satisfaction with major. The attention to learning and student satisfaction with their major have decisive influences on achieving those abilities. Therefore, university should make an effort to improve student satisfaction continuously by providing high-quality and high-class education service to students, focusing on education factor, welfare factor, facilities factor and human factor all together.
