넛지의 활용성 분석을 통한 휴지케이스 디자인

Nudge, which started from behavioral economics, is being used to solve social problems in various fields, as a soft intervention to promote behavioral changes of people naturally, not a coercion. According to the previous study of this paper, nudge-related studies are mostly focused on the perspective of humanities and social sciences, and there is an absence of studies from the perspective of design to the concept of nudge most actively. Therefore, this study aims to analyze application cases of nudge from the perspective of design for invigorating nudge designs in the future, and suggest a waste paper case design, as a case of nudge design idea approach, based on the analysis result. The study methods are as follows. First, prior to analyzing application cases from the perspective of design, key words of the design concept presented by existing nudge design development cases were extracted. Second, based on duplication and affinity among the extracted key words, four application categories; energy saving, participation induction, crime prevention and accident ․ safety prevention were grouped to clarify the standard of case classification. Third, existing nudge application cases were classified and analyzed from the perspective of design, on the basis of the application categories above. Based on the study results from these study methods, design application methods of existing nudge application cases were analyzed, a design approach method was devised to suggest a case of nudge design idea approach, and a waste paper case design was suggested. It is considered that this study has significance by understanding the role of nudge from the perspective of design to use the concept of nudge most actively and providing basic information for invigorating nudge designs in the future.
