초록
This research identifies key primary stakeholders affecting Japanese MNE subsidiaries’ CSR activities in Korea. By using stakeholder theory and employing regression analysis, we find that both ‘internal managers and employees’ and ‘government’ play a crucial role in enforcing MNE subsidiaries to conduct CSR activities in the local market. Given the unique historical characteristics between the two countries, the empirical outcome contributes to current knowledge and provides practical managerial implications for Japanese MNEs.
