Developing a Scale Measuring Social Responsibility Activities of Korea Professional Sports Team

This newly developed through research professional sports team, a measure of social responsibility is as follows. First, the economic responsibility activities ‘profitability, contributing to the national economy through’, ‘trying to create jobs’, ‘citizens living standards (quality of life), trying to improve’, ‘employees have a long-term strategy to build’. Second, the legal responsibility activities ‘seek the welfare of employees and employment law compliance’', ‘business management and organization managers are trying to follow the law relating to’, ‘Well follow the Consumer Protection Act’, ‘compensation of employees for promotion and internal regulations are provided to prevent discrimination’. Third, the ethical responsibility activities ‘rather than short-term profit-seeking operations to match social ethics’, ‘transparent management’, ‘fair trade suppliers and other related’, ‘employees to let customers to provide adequate and accurate information is required’. Finally, the responsibility for charitable activities are ‘many schools and communities, and to promote cooperative projects’, ‘sports and cultural activities, support’, ‘active eco-friendly activities to do’, ‘local residents and students to support education programs’ etc. These findings are a professional sports team, and understand the importance of ethics, and in particular from the point of view of consumers' social responsibility activities, domestic professional sports teams are important practical implications for the diagnosis will be presented.
