보호소년의 사회적지지와 자아존중감 및 자립기술의 관계

This study looked into the effects of self-esteem and social support on protected juvenile’s independent living skills. The research results are as follows: First, by verifying the effects of social support and self-esteem on independent living skills, it was found that teacher support and self-esteem had significant influence on a juvenile inmate’s independent living skills. Second, by verifying the correlation between protected juvenile’s social support and self-esteem, it was found that the higher the parents, teacher, and friend support, the higher the self-esteem. Third, by looking into the differences by gender in the relationships among social support, self-esteem and independent living skills, it was found that the higher the teacher support and self-esteem, the higher the independent living skills of a male group. Fourth, teacher support and self-esteem had significant influence on independent living skills of the inmates whose educational background was middle school graduation and lower.
