고용센터 직업상담사의 업무환경이 심리적 안녕감에 미치는 영향 : 전문직 정체성의 매개효과

The purpose of this paper is to examine mediating effect of professional identity in the relationship between job environment and psychological well-being in vocational counselors working at employment centers. For this purpose, 335 vocational counselors were selected from all provinces for a self-reporting on-line survey using indices of job environment, professional identity, and psychological well-being. In order to verify the mediating effect of psychological well-being on the relationship between job environment and psychological well-being, combinational regression analysis was also carried out based on the conditions suggested in Baron and Kenny(1986). The result from this research paper is that Professional identity is discovered to have a partial mediating effect on the relationship between job environment and psychological well-being. It seems to imply that job environment has a influence on psychological well-being through a professional identity. Therefore, my research summarizes that professional identity of the vocational counselors working at employment centers have great influence on psychological well-being. For this reason, the implication of this study would be concerning the fact that it is necessary to establish strong professional identity to help vocational counselors to have a sound psychological well-being. Furthermore, the result of this research paper which proves that the importance of professional identity for vocational counselors is useful resource and greatly help them to have the positive solutions on their job environment, and psychological well-being.
