창업가의 리더십개발을 위한 피드백 중심의 접근

초록
본 연구는 리더십개발의 여러 방법론 중 하나인 피드백 중심프로그램이 창업가의 리더십개발에 어떻게 효과적으로 적용될 수 있을 것인가 하는 연구문제에서 출발하고 있다. 연구의 목적은 피드백 중심의 리더십프로그램의 특징과 원리에 기초하여 우리나라 창업가의 리더십개발에 대한 시사점과 효과적 적용방안을 제시하고 나아가 창업분야의 활성화에 도움이 되는데 있다. 주요 연구범위는 창업가의 특성에 부합한 리더십개발 방법론, 피드백과 리더십개발과의 관계 그리고 미국 기업교육에서 널리 적용되고 있는 MBTI, FIRO-B, 360도 Feedback, 리더십코칭의 원리와 특징을 고찰한 후 우리나라 창업가의 리더십개발에 적용할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다. 연구방법론은 피드백 중심의 리더십프로그램개발 관련 문헌연구를 중심으로 하고, 미국에서 최고의 권위를 인정받고 있는 Center for Creative Leadership기관의 피드백 중심의 리더십프로그램 운영 선진사례를 참조하였다. 연구결과 피드백 중심의 리더십 프로그램이 창업가의 리더십개발에 효과적인 학습 과정이며, 다른 리더십개발 방법에 두루 적용할 될 수 있으며, 자기인식을 통한 유연하고 창의적인 리더십 발휘에 도움이 되고, 실용성이 높은 리더십프로그램으로써 그 장점을 도출할 수 있었다.
Abstract
The concern of this study is to examine how the feedback-intensive program, one of the several methods of leadership development is effectively applied to leadership development of the entrepreneurs. The purpose of the study is to examine the principles and characteristics of the feedback-intensive leadership programs, to propose important consequences and to help entrepreneurs develop leadership for start-ups in the Korea. The main concern of study is an entrepreneurial leadership development methodology, relationships between feedback and leadership development, and MBTI, FIRO-B, 360 degree Feedback and Leadership coaching used as popular feedback centered leadership programs in the United States. The study mainly used literature review about feedback-intensive leadership program and studied the leadership program of the authoritative Center for Creative Leadership in the United States. Consequently, we found that the feedback-intensive program was an effective learning process for entrepreneurs, useful for executing creative leadership through self-awareness, could be applied to various leadership development methods, and had advantages as a practical program.
