수출벤처기업의 네트워크와 경영성과 간의 관계에서 흡수능력의 역할에 관한 연구

본 연구는 수출벤처기업의 네트워크규모/역량과 흡수능력 및 경영성과의 관계, 특히 네트워크규모/역량과 경영성과 사이에서 흡수능력의 역할에 관해 실증적으로 규명하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 이론적 연구를 통해 연구의 개념 및 가설을 설정하였고, 구조화된 설문지를 통해 수출벤처기업을 대상으로 실증분석을 위한 자료를 수집하여 공분산구조분석(SEM)으로 가설을 검정하였다. 가설검정 결과, 네트워크규모와 흡수능력 사이에는 유의한 영향관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 네트워크역량과 경영성과 사이에도 유의한 영향관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 네트워크규모가 경영성과에, 네트워크역량이 흡수능력에 미치는 영향은 유의하지 않은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 흡수능력이 네트워크규모와 경영성과 사이에서 매개적 역할을 하고 있고, 네트워크역량과 경영성과 사이에서 조절적 역할을 하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과를 통해 수출벤처기업의 경영성과에 있어서 네트워크와 흡수능력이 주는 시사점은 의미가 크다고 하겠다.
Abstract
This study investigates the role of absorptive capacity in the relationship between exporting ventures' network and performance. A literature review on this research concept has been conducted and the hypothesis has been set up. The hypothesis is proved by structural equation modeling (SEM) of the data on exporting ventures, gathered through structured questionnaires. As a result, we established that there is a significant relationship between network size and absorptive capacity, and between network capability and firm performance. However, there is no effect of network size on management performance, and network capability on absorptive capacity. Absorptive capacity significantly plays the mediating role between network size and firm performance, and the significant moderating role between network capability and firm performance. These results have some very important implications for exporting ventures in structural relations among network, absorptive capacity and their performance.
