Qualitative Analysis on the Position, Policy, Legal and Trends of the Sporting Goods Industry

초록

The purpose of this study is examining the position and content of the sporting goods industry in the international sports industry through a literature review and in-depth interviews and investigating changes of the laws and the trends in the sporting goods industry in order to refocus the sporting goods industry and to suggest direction to improve the industry. In order to achieve the objectives of this study, conclusions through related literature researches and an in-depth interviews of six field expert are as follows. First, sporting goods, sports eopnae distribution services must be re-classification itself. Second, the policy of sporting goods should be more focused on developing the online and offline sport distribution services. Third, the content of sporting goods service in Sports Industry Promotion Act should be revised. Fourth, it should be introduced the brand concept of professional sporting goods. Fifth, it should be actualized in Asia to build up a network of sporting goods.

Abstract
