프랙털 기하학을 활용한 헤어 디자인 교육 연구

In modern society, the development of fractal geometry has played a critical role in creating a beautiful, convenient, and abundant human life by having a significant effect on many design fields. In fact, it is a genre of practical arts, which has a significant effect on the development of civilization. Influenced by modernism, hairstyling now seeks a new paradigm, seeing its limitations. In foreign countries, there have been educational guidance plans on the creation of new hairstyles using fractal geometrical patterns, in which art and science are combined. In fact, various fractal geometrical designs have been created using computer technology. Even though fractal geometry is essential to stay competitive in a new globalized cosmetology market, there have been few studies on fractal geometry-based hairstyles in South Korea. Therefore, this study attempted to propose an educational guidance plan to create hairstyles that can satisfy diverse consumer needs and demands in the new hairstyling market by guiding education on potential and applicability in fractal geometry-based creative hairstyling. Considering that it is urgent for cosmetology-related departments in college to cover formative education on hairstyling, therefore, this study aims to give students an opportunity to develop their potential and become a competent hairstylist in the world with fractal geometry-based formative educational courses.
