Urban Politics, Collaborative Governance and Public Health

Regarding recent movement of local sustainability, smart growth and new urbanism, public health concerns are not merely related to public health sector but intertwined with various local policy sectors. Along with the feature of public health, this research reviews an academic endeavor denoting public health improvement in terms of the fields of environmental regulation, urban planning practice and local politics. And then, constructs the comprehensive set of health urban governance which underlies the theoretical and analytical framework for investigating influential factors on public health improvement.
