청년창업의 주역이자 잠재적 창업가인 대학생의 창업의지를 제고시키기 위해서는 기업가정신의 함양이 무엇보다 중요하다. 이러한 시각에서 수행된 본연구의 주된 목적은 대학생들의 기업가정신을 성취욕구, 위험선호, 자기효능감으로 구분하여 창업의지에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 분석하고, 대학생의 창업교육과 창업참여가 기업가정신과 창업의지 사이에서 조절효과를 갖는지를 확인하는데 있다. 이러한 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 대학에서 창업교육을 수강한 대학생 296명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과를 요약하면 첫째, 대학생의 기업가정신 중 위험감수와 자기효능감이 창업의지에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었고, 둘째, 대학생 창업교육은 기업가정신중 성취욕구 및 위험감수가 창업의지 사이에서 조절효과가 존재하는 것으로 나타났으며, 셋째, 대학생의 창업참여는 기업가정신 중 성취욕구와 창업의지 사이에서 조절효과를 보이는 것으로 확인되었다. 마지막으로 이러한 연구결과를토대로 대학생들의 창업의지 향상을 위해서는 무엇보다 성취욕구, 위험감수와자기효능감 등의 기업가정신 함양이 중요하고, 대학생들에 대한 보다 적극적인창업교육 실시와 활발한 창업참여 기회 제공을 통하여 기업가정신이 창업의지에 미치는 영향을 더욱 강화할 수 있다는 점 등을 연구의 시사점으로 제시하였다.
Abstract
Although there should be many factors that enhance the entrepreneurial intentions of university students who are potential entrepreneurs, enhancing their entrepreneurship can be said to be more important than anything else. In this study, university students’ entrepreneurship was divided into achievement needs, risk taking, and self-efficacy and the effects of the individual components of university students’ entrepreneurship on their entrepreneurial intentions were analyzed. In addition, the present study was also intended to review whether university students’ entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial participation have moderating effects between their entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intentions. To achieve these study purposes, questionnaire surveys were conducted on university students who received entrepreneurship education. The study results are summarized as follows. First, risk taking and self-efficacy out of university students’ entrepreneurship were shown to have statistically significant positive(+) influences on their entrepreneurial intentions. Second, entrepreneurship education at universities was shown to have moderating effects between achievement needs and risk taking out of entrepreneurship. These results can be regarded as indicating that university students’ entrepreneurship has important effects on their entrepreneurial intentions and that their achievement needs and risk taking at universities are reinforced through entrepreneurship education. Third, university students’ entrepreneurial participation’s moderating effects between their entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial intentions were found at their achievement needs. As such, the fact that, university students’ entrepreneurship is important for the enhancement of their entrepreneurial intentions could be identified. The study results indicating that university students’ active entrepreneurship education and entrepreneurial participation affect their entrepreneurship are considered to be a theoretical or practical implication. It can be expected that business start-up related studies will be actively conducted at universities so that students’ entrepreneurship can be inspired and youths’ business start-up can be activated.
