해외직접구매물품의 물류프로세스 및 통관 상의 문제점에 관한 연구

Recently, cross-border e-commerce has been rapidly increasing. Cross-border e-commerce is when domestic consumers purchase overseas products through an Internet shopping mall. Most of the goods imported by cross-border e-commerce arrived at Incheon airport by courier services. The special customs formalities for these goods has congested in these days for the aged infrastructure and system comparing with large volume of these goods. The customs formalities could be made not only at customs warehouses but also at private warehouses, but some of them have some problem for the same reasons. Therefore the Customs Service has a plan to collect the courier goods into Courier Logistics Center the customs warehouse now under building from the warehouses. This study focuses on some issues related to courier goods and customs clearance and proposed some ideas to enforce border protection and trade facilitation. It shows the policy validity of new Courier Logistics Center and economic effectiveness as well as the securities of the goods handled by courier services.
