Recent development of medical device design industry hasbeen a key issue. It is because the developed for the usabilityof medical doctors in the past caused sense of reluctanceto various current users. Accordingly, various competitivemedical devices appear and emotional design showingstability and familiarity has been raised. As a typical cast,this study examined medical service design which appearsnewly through 3D printers out of the medical device andrelated medical products. This study compared andreviewed educational environments and cases in variousmedical services, and attempted to seek development ofa new industry and possibility of domestic design industry. And this study also seeks competitive and valuable productsin harmony with medical engineering and design. As for methodology, the study adopted literature surveyfocusing on resource survey on medical devise and relatedenvironmental change by 3DP technology, interview andinspection of recent development trend. The studyexamined 3DP market trend and 3DP paradigm changeand inspected cosmetic surgery, dental clinic, prosthetichands, prosthetic foot and hearing aid to figure out 3Dprinting medical design application cases. As for 3DPmedical application research cases, the study examined CT3D transformation open source process. And, the studyexamined medical service design and overall improvementmeasure. In doing so, the study suggested that variousfusion and integration thinking and efforts are essentialto designers.
