고령자를 위한 놀이터 디자인 가이드라인 설계를 위한 기초 기준안 마련

초록
한국의 고령화 비율은 급증하고 있으며, 2026년 이후 초고령화 사회로 진입할 것으로 전망하고 있다. 이로 인해 다양한 사회적 문제들이 나타날 것이며, 이러한 문제들 중 건강문제는 사회가 감당해야 할 가장 큰 문제로 부각될 전망이다. 본 연구는 이러한 배경을 바탕으로 고령자들의 건강유지와 관리를 위한 디자인 가이드라인 제안하는 것으로 어린아이들이 놀이터에서 놀이를 통해 신체적 근력과 사회적규율을 학습 하듯이 고령자 놀이터를 통해 신체적, 정신적건강과 사회적 활동을 증진하고자 한다. 본 연구를 위해 먼저 연구의 목적을 정립하고 이론적 고찰에서 고령자 놀이문화와 고령자 놀이터 및 운동시설을 고찰하였다. 이후, 기존 고령자 운동 시설, 화상 의료 진료 시스템, 고령자를 위한 U-Healthcare, 노인 운동학, 고령자의 사회적참여 그리고 놀이터 법률에 관하여 문헌과 이전 연구들을 통해 기초 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 과정에서는 어린이 놀이터와 고령자 운동시설 비교하고 여러 고령자와 의학 전문의 심도 있는 인터뷰 통해 디자인 가인드라인 설계를 위한 1차 기준안을 마련하였다. 이후 검증을 위해 도시건축 관련 종사자,의학 전문의, 지자체 행정 담당자 그리고 전문 디자이너와의인터뷰를 진행하여 2차 디자인 가인드라인 기준안을 작성 하였다. 본 연구를 통해 얻은 결론은 고령자들이 보다 쉽게 신체적, 정신적 건강과 사회적 활동을 돕는 고령자 놀이터 디자인 가이드라인을 만들기 위한 기준안 마련에 의미를 두고자 한다.
Abstract
The rate of aging of Koreans is rapidly increasing everyyear, and before long, it is expected to enter the super-agedsociety. Therefore, various issues of the super-aged societywill become social issues, and among such issues, healthissues are expected to become the biggest issue that thesociety will have to handle. Based on such background,this study proposes design guidelines for the healthmanagement and care for the elderly, and aims at improvingthe physical and mental health, as well as social activitiesthrough elderly playgrounds similar to the concept ofhaving children improve physical health and learn socialrules by playing in playgrounds. In this study, firs the purpose of the study was establishedand then in the following theoretical study, the play cultureof the elderly and playground and exercise facilities of theelderly were examined. Afterwards, literature and previousstudies on existing exercise facilities for the elderly, videomedical diagnosis systems, U-healthcare for the elderly,elderly kinematics, social participation of senior citizens,and laws on playgrounds were carried out for the baseresearch. In the empirical research, general children’splaygrounds were compared with the exercise facilities ofthe elderly. It was followed by in-depth interviews withsenior citizens and the first standards were provided fordrafting design guidelines. Then, workers in urbanconstruction, doctors, and local governmentadministration personnel, as well as professional designerswere interviewed for verification and the basic plan wasdrafted for the second design guideline. The conclusion gained from this study has significance inestablishing a standard plan to create a playground designguideline for the elderly to contribute to their physical andmental health, as well as social activities
