QBL 관점에 기초를 둔 지속가능한 경영성과 연구

초록
최근, 지속가능경영은 기업의 핵심 이슈로 그 중요성이 더욱 강조되어 왔다. 그러나 선행연구들은 경제적인 성과와 같은 단편적이고 단기적인 성과에 미치는 연구에 집중되어 있어 기업의 장기적인 성과인 지속가능한 경영성과를 측정하는 연구가 상대적으로 미흡하였다. 이에 본 연구는 이러한 한계점을 극복하기 위해 지속가능한 경영성과를 QBL(Quadruple Bottom Line) 관점에서 실증적인 연구를 수행하였으며, 성경적인 관점을 제안하고자 한다. 실증적 연구는 국내 중견 및 대기업 중에서 ISO 26000을 도입, 실행하고 있는 지속가능경영 전담팀이 있거나 지속가능경영보고서를 발간하고 있는 기업을 주 대상으로 하였으며, 그 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 지속가능한 경영성과를 분석한 결과, 경제적 요인 중에서는 경영효율성이, 사회적 요인 중에서는 사회공헌과 종업원 존중이, 경영적 요인 중에서는 지속가능전략, 경영혁신 및 지배구조가 지속가능한 경영성과에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 결론적으로, 본 연구는 그동안 전통적인 TBL(Triple Bottom Line) 관점에서 논의 되어 온 지속가능경영을 QBL(Quadruple Bottom Line) 관점에서, 그 개념을 실증적으로 검증하였다는 것이 큰 의미를 가진다고 할 수 있다. 지속가능한 경영은, “오직 공의를 행하며 인자를 사랑하며 겸손하게 네 하나님과 함께 행하는 경영”(미 6:8)으로 성경적인 관점과 일맥상통한다.
Abstract
Recently, sustainable management emerged where the key issues of the company and their importance are increasing. However, previous researches focused mainly on short-term outcomes in economic performance, in which measuring long-term, non-financial and sustainable management performance of the company was insufficient. Therefore, to overcome these limitation, this study analyzes the factors affecting sustainable management performance based on QBL(Quadruple Bottom Line) perspective through empirical research and suggests biblical perspective. Empirical research was conducted to target the ISO 26000 initiated mid-sized and large sized companies in domestic and the results are as follows. Verifying the factors affecting sustainable management performance, the operational efficiency among the economic factors, social contribution and employee respect among the social factors and governance, sustainable strategy and management innovation among the managerial factors were found to affect the sustainable management performance. In conclusion, the performance of this study is theoretical formulation is expand from prior TBL(Triple Bottom Line) to QBL(Quadruple Bottom Line) through empirical study. In biblical perspective, sustainable management is "to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God(Micah 6:8)".
