창업의 개념적 진화와 새로운 성장동력: 사내 창업을 중심으로

초록
Entrepreneur, entrepreneurship에 관련된 기존의 국내연구에서는 entrepreneur를기업가(企業家) 혹은 기업가(起業家)로, entrepreneurship을 기업가정신 혹은 창업가정신으로 번역해왔다. 본 연구에서는 entrepreneur 관련 용어의 의미와 개념을 설명하고기업의 영역뿐만 아니라 사회, 조직, 복지, 공공사업 등 다양한 분야로 확장되어 가는entrepreneurship의 연구 범위를 제한하지 않기 위해, 관련 용어를 창업(創業)으로새로이 번역하여 사용하였다. 창업 연구의 발전과정을 살펴보고 각각의 특징을 나누었다. 우리나라는 인구고령화, 산업고도화, 저금리 등으로 인한 구조적 저성장 경제구조로진입하고 있다. 정부·기업·민간에서 경기침체를 벗어나기 위해 많은 시도를 하고 있지만답보상태에 머물러 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 이러한 구조적 저성장을 극복하기 위한방안으로 사내 창업을 제시한다. 기업은 사내창업을 통하여 기회를 포착하여 새로운사업으로 진출하며 이윤을 창출하고, 이로 인하여 민간의 고용을 흡수하며 보유 자원의새로운 조합, 변화 등으로 생산성을 증대시켜 경제성장으로 이어진다. 이러한 사내 창업의현황과 문제점을 살펴보고 활성화 방안으로 기업의 명확한 제도 확립과 흔들림 없는 지원, 정부 지원을 통한 성장 유인 제공과 유연한 경제시스템 구축을 제안한다.
Abstract
This paper presents a summary of research on entrepreneurship by systematic review and describes corporate entrepreneurship leads to growth and development. The paper show that corporate entrepreneurship is a vital component in process of economic growth, which consists of corporate venture, strategic entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship, organizational entrepreneurship and institutional entrepreneurship. The Korea’s economy face to the social, economic and environmental challenges ahead. These corporate entrepreneurship activities can improve company performance and resolve the situation. Based on this results of the research, the paper can contribute practically to management of company and policy making.
