청소년의 또래애착, 사회적 책무성 및 대인관계문제 간의 관계

초록
본 연구에서는 청소년들의 또래애착, 사회적 책무성 그리고 대인관계 문제 간의 성별에 따른 차이, 상호 관련성을 살펴보고, 또래애착과 사회적 책무성이 대인관계 문제에 미치는 직·간접적인 영향을 탐색하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 최종 분석 대상은 서울에 소재한 3개 고등학교에 재학 중인 고등학생 총 442명이었다. 본 연구에서 사용된 측정 도구는 또래애착(신뢰, 의사소통, 소외), 사회적 책무성(배려, 감사, 공동체 의식, 리더십) 및 대인관계 문제 척도이다. 본 연구 결과, 첫째 사회적 책무성과 또래 애착은 남학생보다 여학생이 높은 것으로 나타난 반면에, 대인관계 문제는 남학생이 높은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 또래 애착의 하위요인인 ‘신뢰’ 요인과 ‘의사소통’ 요인은 사회적 책무성에 직접적인 영향을 미치며, 대인관계 문제에는 간접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또래애착의 하위요인인 ‘소외’ 요인은 대인관계 문제에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 사회적 책무성은 대인관계 문제에 부정적이고 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 청소년의 사회적 책무성 증진과 대인관계 문제 완화를 위해서는 또래 애착을 증진시키는 것이 도움이 된다고 할 수 있다. 이와 같은 연구 결과는 청소년들의 사회적 책무성 함양과 대인관계 문제 완화를 위한 기초자료로 활용 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
Abstract
This study was to examine gender differences and the relations of adolescents’ peer attachment, social responsibility, and interpersonal problems, and also direct and indirect effects of peer attachment and social responsibility on interpersonal problems among adolescents. The subjects were 442 high school students in Seoul, Korea. Measures of the peer attachment (i.e., trust, communication, alienation), social responsibility (i.e., caring, gratitude, community spirit, and leadership), and interpersonal problems were administered. Results were as followed. Firstly, female students had a higher social responsibility and peer attachment than male students, whereas male students had higher interpersonal problems than female students. Secondly, peer trust and peer communication had positive direct effects on social responsibility and negative indirect effects on interpersonal problems. Peer alienation had also a positive direct effect on interpersonal problems. But social responsibility had a negative direct effect on interpersonal problems. Results are discussed in terms of their implications.
