청소년 자원봉사 활동과 기업 사회공헌과의 연계 모색

초록
이 연구에서는 청소년 자원봉사의 정책적․실천적 한계를 극복하기 위한 대안으로서 ‘창의적 체험활동’과 ‘자유학기제’를 활용한 ‘학교 기반 봉사학습(school-based service learning)’을 모색하고, 시민사회/시민서비스 패러다임에 기초한 학교 기반 봉사학습의 성공적인 수행을 위하여 중․고등학교와 기업 사회공헌과의 연계 필요성을 제안하고자 한다. ‘시민사회/시민서비스 패러다임(civil society/civic service paradigm)'의 부각으로 청소년의 학교 기반 봉사학습‘을 강화하고 있다. 또한, 기업의 사회공헌 패러다임은 기업 자선모델(corporate philanthropy)’에서 건전한 기업시민론(good corporate citizen)'으로 변화하고 있으며, 이러한 패러다임의 변화는 학교 기반 봉사학습 모델에서 기업의 동반자(partner)로서 역할을 강조하고 있다. 창의적 체험활동 및 자유학기제를 활용하여 시민사회/시민서비스 패러다임에 기초한 학교 기반 봉사학습이 학교 교육 과정으로 운영될 필요가 있으며, 지역사회를 기반으로 한 기업 사회공헌과의 연계는 ‘학교 기반 봉사학습’ 프로젝트의 성공적인 수행에 필수적인 요소임을 제안하고자 한다.
Abstract
In this study, I reviewed the paradigm for youth’s volunteering and suggested the school-based service learning model for youths of which CSR(corporate social responsibility) would constructed the cooperative network in civil society/civic service paradigm. For the purpose of the study, I evaluated statistics of volunteering activities of youths, and the legal infrastructure and the policy changes of volunteering movement in Korea. In regard to the paradigm shift of volunteering, it has been changed from workplace model' based on philanthropy to civil society/civic service paradigm'. In the civil society/civic service paradigm, I suggested that school-based service learning' practice be applied with the creative activity curriculum and free-semester program, which might implement collaborative network and satisfy community needs. For accomplishing successful school-based service learning, it was suggested that CSR as the valued partner for school-based service learning should be considered with the corporate citizenship.
