Study on the Relationship between Transaction Fairness, Relationship Quality, and Re-transaction Intentions

The purpose of this study is to examine how the three factors of transaction fairness, process fairness, interaction fairness, and outcome fairness, influence relationship quality, trust and unity, and also re-transaction intention. The results of formulating and verifying hypotheses among them are as stated below: First, about the verification of hypothesis 1, process fairness, interaction fairness, and outcome fairness influence trust and unity in a significantly positive way. It means that if the level of three kinds of fairness is higher, the level of trust and unity also gets higher. Second, trust and unity influence re-transaction intention in a significantly positive way. Therefore, if the level of trust and unity becomes higher, re-transaction intention can be enhanced, Third, trust and unity play roles as a parameter in correlation between the three factors of fairness as well as re-transaction intention. The results of verifying those hypotheses suggest that when the three factors of fairness and their importance are recognized highly, trust and unity can be attained, and furthermore, re-transaction intention can be elevated.
