International fisheries environment surrounding our fishing industry is anticipated to change continuously by joining international agreement as TPP through Korea-China FTA. Fisheries Incorporated Association responds to the demand of changing international fishery environment and exists for productivity of fishermen and reinforcement of competitiveness. Improvement of competitiveness through Fisheries Incorporated Association is commercialization of producer organization. Currently Fisheries Incorporated Association is showing a slight growth in quantity. However, the number of Fisheries Incorporated Association that are hiring less than 4 regular employees, which is the standard of smallness, is also increasing. Debt ratio also is annually increasing. Fishery association corporation is a private corporation, aggregate corporation, profit organization and a special juridical person. Fishery association corporation is aiming for promotion of mutual interest through cooperative fishing industry management. Improvement plans are as follows. First, a plan for limitation of similar name use and expansion of selective support should be prepared. Second, applicable provisions related to a limited company should be applied. Third, activation of semi-association member institution is required for the inflow of outside capital and technology. Fourth, clear statement of legal profit along with organization change is required. Fifth, solution plan for fairness of special taxation and expansion of investment in kind scope are required. Based on the study, the researcher expects improvement of institutional problem of Fishery association corporation and quantitative and qualitative growth thereof, which has meanwhile existed.
