This study aims to examine the effect of supervisor’s relationship bonding efforts on relationship strength and long-term orientation in food service franchise. The findings can be summarized as follow: First, supervisor’s relationship bonding efforts have positive effects on relationship strength and relationship strength has a positive effect on long-term orientation. Second, supervisor’s social and structural bonding efforts have significant effects on long-term orientation, but functional relationship bonding. Functional relationship bonding has a indirect effect on long-term orientation through relationship strength.
