본 연구는 벤처기업을 대상으로 잠재성장모델(Latent Growth Model)을 활용하여 벤처기업의 지속적인 성장을 이끌어 낼 수 있는 기술혁신과 경영성과의 변화에 대해 규명하였다. 첫째, 시간의 변화에 따른 기술혁신 및 경영성과에 대한 발달괘적을 살펴보고, 둘째, 기술혁신의 발달괘적이 경영성과의 근간인 매출액의 발달괘적에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 분석자료는 2013년부터 2015년까지의 3년 동안 조사된 벤처기업정밀실태조사의 데이터를 기반으로 3년 동안 동일하게 표본에 포함된 기업들을 선별하여 패널자료로 만들어 분석에 활용하였다. 분석결과 기술혁신변수 중 지적재산권과 경영성과는 시간이 지남에 따라 지속적으로 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 기술혁신의 발달괘적은 경영성과의 발달괘적에 통계적으로 유의한 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 이는 벤처기업들이 경영성과를 높이기 위해 꾸준히 기술혁신에 많은 노력들을 기울이고 있는 것을 알 수 있다. 그러나 현재의 벤처기업은 기술적 혁신에 집중하고 있는 반면, 기업의 사회적 책임에 대한 부분을 통한 지속적 성장에 대한 노력들이 부족한 것으로 나타났다.
Abstract
This study focused on longitudinal data and latent growth modeling(LGM). LGM is modeled as a function of an underlying growth process. The first, this study analyzed empirically the developmental trajectory of technological innovation and management performance as time goes on. The second, verified the effect of the developmental trajectory of technological innovation on the developmental trajectory of sales founding management performance. At the research design, 269 firms are selected from population of 2013~2015 Venture Business Investigation. The result of empirical analysis was as follows. Technological innovation(Intellectual Property Right) and management performance(sales) increased linearly as time goes on. The development trajectory of R&D intensity, R&D professional ratio, technological competitiveness had a positive effect on the development trajectory of sales in statistical significance level.
