초록
This phenomenological study examines the effects of the entrepreneurship support programs on the entrepreneurial intentions of 6 university students enrolled at Leading Universities for Start-up Business(hereinafter ‘LUSB’) program. There has been a recent trend of applying quantitative methods for evaluating entrepreneurial intentions of students in start-up support program. Interview data was collected using 4 subjects and 9 categories, and the results are as follows: First, LUSB program is the most important factor influencing entrepreneurial intention. Second, LUSB program has a positive effect on initial start-up. Third, early formation and expression of entrepreneurial intentions are affected by LUSB program experiences. Based on these results, two improvements to the LUSB program are proposed. First, the integration of LUSB programs and local industry needs to be promoted. Second, a variety of pre start-up and actual start-up experiences within LUSB programs need to assist students. This study is significant as it phenomenologically explores the effects of LUSB program. The study limitations include the limited number of interviewees as well as possible researcher bias in interpreting results.
