대학생의 창업교육이 창업성향과 창업의도간의 관계에 미치는 조절효과
The moderating effect of a university’s entrepreneurial education on the relationship between entrepreneurial traits and entrepreneurial intention

초록
관광산업 활성화를 위해 관광창업에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있는 반면, 관광창업에 대한 교육은 부족한 현실에서 4년제 대학의 관광관련 창업교육이 대학생들의 창업성향과 창업의도와의 관계에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 살펴보는 것은 중요하다. 본 연구는 창업교육이 창업성향과 창업의도의 관계에 있어 어떤 영향을 주는지를 파악하고자 한다. 구체적으로 위험감수성, 내적통제성, 우연에 의한 통제성, 혁신성, 자기효능감의 5가지 창업성향이 대학생들의 창업의도에 어떤 영향을 미치는지 파악하고 창업교육에 대한 경험이 창업성향과 창업의도와의 관계에 영향을 미치는지를 확인하고자 하였다. 국내 경주에 소재한 4년제 D 대학교의 호텔관광경영학 전공자를 대상으로 총 298부의 유효 표본을 확보하고 조절회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 위험감수성과 혁신성, 자기효능감이 높을수록 창업의도가 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 내적 통제성, 우연에 의한 통제성, 혁신성이 높고 창업교육을 받은 경우 창업의도가 더 높아지는 것으로 나타나 창업교육의 조절효과를 확인하였다. 하지만 위험감수성과 자기효능감의 경우는 창업교육을 통해 창업의도를 높이지는 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 창업교육경험유무의 조절효과를 검증함으로써 창업교육의 필요성과 중요성에 대한 근거를 제시하는데 큰 의의가 있다.
Abstract
This study aims to investigate the relationship between entrepreneurial traits and entrepreneurial intention of university students in Korea and to reveal the moderating effect of entrepreneurial education on the relationship. Using a total of 298 samples of university students majoring in hotel and tourism management at D university in Gyeongju, Korea, five entrepreneurial traits were derived including risk taking, internal locus of control, control by chance, innovativeness, and self-efficacy. To identify the moderating effect of entrepreneurial education, moderated multiple regression was employed. The results showed that risk-taking propensity, innovativeness, and self-efficacy have significant positive impacts on entrepreneurial intention. The moderating effects of entrepreneurial education on the relationship between some entrepreneurial traits (locus of control, control by chance, and innovativeness) and intention were identified. This implies that some of the entrepreneurial traits and business start-up intention could be enhanced by entrepreneurial education.
