칸트 양심론의 체계와 방향 ― 도덕과 종교의 매개에 집중하여 ―

A chronological review of the entire Kant’s books revealed that the word, ‘conscience’, appeared approximately 144 times. Among his works, the concept of conscience was focused since the completion of three critical books. Conscience was mainly discussed in metaphysics ethics of practical philosophy and philosophy of religion. The author argues that the morality and religion are connected by the concept of conscience in Kantian philosophy. The goal of the paper is to elucidate the reasoning behind the above argument (section 2)followed by the analysis of the position and structure of aforementioned concept of conscience in ‘Tugendlehre’(Section 3). Then, based on the previous analysis, I will investigate if the defined trend of conscience in Kant’s practical philosophy is attributed to the philosophy of religion. I will attempt to identify the Moral that was attributed in religion( section 4). Finally I will examine the theory of conscience in the context of religious philosophy.
