A Study on the Effect of Franchisor's Ongoing Support on Relationship Quality and Performance in Coffee Franchises - Focusing on cafe franchise -

Today, as franchise industry see maintaining the existing franchise business operator more significant than attracting new ones, the policy of franchise head quarter(HQ) is transforming from short-term expansion to long-term relationship with existing business operator, and aims to improve performance. This is a decisive element of successful business, and poses positive influence to future development of the franchise. Therefore, this study conducted positive analysis in order to seek the improvement plan for the relationship between franchise HQ and the operator by analyzing the influence of franchise HQ system to relationship quality and performance of operator. As the result, restaurant franchise system provided by HQ influences relationship quality of the operator, and affects continuous management and recommendation intention of franchise business operator.
