평생학습 참여에 영향을 미치는 역량 증진 기대에 대한 분석

본 연구는 성인학습자의 참여 경험이 향후 참여 계획에 미치는 영향을 매개하는 요인으로 역량 증진 기대의 효과를 검증하고, 향후 참여 계획에 영향을 미치는 역량 요인을 세부적으로 추출하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 하나의 도시를 선정하여 설문조사를 실시하였고, 회귀분석을 통해 결과를 분석하였다. 그 결과 다음과 같이 나타났다. 첫째, 학습자의 참여 경험은 향후 참여 계획과 학습을 통한 역량 증진 기대에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 특히, 역량 증진에 대한 기대는 교육 참여 경험과 향후 참여 계획의 관계를 유의미하게 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교육 참여경험이 있는 학습자와 그렇지 않은 학습자 모두 사회문화역량에 대한 기대가 향후 교육 참여 계획이 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 다음과 같은 시사점을 제시하고자 한다. 첫째, 평생교육기관의 교육프로그램 개발 과정에서 기존에 이미 만들어진 프로그램의 재생산을 벗어나 역량 증진에 기여하는 통합적 교육프로그램 개발로의 진화가 요구된다. 둘째, 최근 성인들의 관심사 중 하나가 사회적 관계 형성과 관계되어 있다는 점에 주목하여 교육프로그램 개발·운영 과정에 이를 반영하고자 한다.
Abstract
This study aims to verify the effect of competence enhancement expectation as a 5mediating factor through which adult learners' participation experience influence on future participation plan, and then extract competence factors that impact on future participation plan in details. The results of analysis are as follows. First, the participation experience of adult learners statistically influence on the future participation plan and the competence enhancement expectation through learning. Especially, the expectation on competence enhancement meaningfully mediate between the participation experience of education and the future participation plan. Second, the expectation of social-cultural competence has statistically significant effect on the future plan of educational participation for both experienced and un-experienced learners. From these results, the implications are suggested as follows. First, beyond the reproduction of existing programs, lifelong education institutions need to develop the integrated education program that contributes to competence enhancement. Second, the fact that one of adults’ interests is recently a social relation building should be reflected on development and operation of educational program.
