Structural relationship between the work-life balance and job attitude based on the employment instability of part-time sports instructors

초록

This study aims to provide the data for improving their labor conditions through verifying the structural relationship between the work-life balance and job attitude based on the employment instability of sports instructors in the diverse area. In order to achieve the aim of this study, the researcher has set and surveyed 300 part-time sports instructors who are working in grade and junior high schools, sports centers, and Taekwondo gyms as research participants using convenience sampling method. Among the collected questionnaires, 19 questionnaires that are not suitable for the analyses were filtered out. So the rest 281 questionnaires were used for final analyses. For the data analysis, the researcher has performed frequency analysis, one-way ANOVA, confirmative factor analysis, correlation analysis and structure equation model using SPSS 18.0 and AMOS 18.0. The results follow: firstly, there was a positive relationship between the employment instability and the work-life balance of part-time sports instructors. Secondly, there was a positive relationship between the employment instability and the job attitude of part-time sports instructors. Lastly, there was a positive relationship between the work-life balance and the job attitude of part-time sports instructors. This research has some significances that it has analyzed and verified employment instability by cognitive evaluation theory. Moreover, this has widened the basis for the future studies by using the employment instability as an independent variable.
