장해를 가진 산업재해근로자의 경제활동과 사회경제적 지위상태의 변화가 생활만족도에 미치는 영향

The objective of this study was to examine the influence of status change of economic activity and socio-economic position on life satisfaction of injured workers with disabilities. For this study, data were drawn from the 1st to 3rd wave panel data provided at Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service. It included 1,030 workers. Methodologically, SPSS was performed to verify the influence of status change of economic activity and socio-economic position on life satisfaction. The result was as follows. (1) It was positively effected on life satisfaction in case of changing from non employment to the case of having returned to their original workplace. On the other hand, it was not effected on life satisfaction in case of changing from non employment to re-employment or changing from having returned to their original workplace to re-employment. (2) Socio-economic position was positively effected on life satisfaction in case of being maintained continuously or changing from low-level position to mid-level or more position. On the other hand, it was negatively effected on life satisfaction in case of changing from mid-level or more position to low-level position. Based on the results, it was proposed to improve life satisfaction of injured workers with disabilities.
