낙관성이 사회복지공무원의 소진에 미치는 영향 연구: 강원도 사례를 중심으로

본 연구는 낙관성이 사회복지공무원의 소진에 어떠한 영향을 주고 있는가를 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 기존 문헌연구와 선행연구들을 토대로 작성한 설문지롤 이용하여 원주시 115명, 강릉시 95명을 대상으로 면접조사를 실시하였다. 사회복지공무원의 소진에 대한 위험요인과 보호요인의 영향을 검증하기 위해 위계적 회귀분석을 실시한 결과, 보호요인인 낙관성이 사회복지공무원들의 정서적 탈진과 소진 그리고 전체소진을 약화시키는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 사회복지사, 간호사, 119구급대원의 소진에 대한 선행연구에서와 같이 업무과다, 클라이언트와의 갈등, 클라이언트의 폭력 등의 변수들이 사회복지공무원들의 소진에도 영향을 주고 있다는 것이 입증됨으로써 연구결과의 일반화에 기여하였다. 또한 소진에 대한 기존의 다른 연구에서는 별로 관심을 두지 않았던 보호요인인 낙관성이 사회복지공무원들의 소진을 완화시키는 것으로 밝혀짐으로써 앞으로 중요한 변수로 고려해야 할 것이며, 사회복지공무원들의 낙관성을 높일 수 있는 프로그램의 제공이 요구된다.
Abstract
The objects of this study was to survey for optimism how to effect burnouts of social welfare officers. For this, questionnaire was collected from 115 social welfare officers in Wonju and 95 social welfare officers in Gangneung, and questionnaire was based on preceeding and literature researches. To verify the protecting and threatening factors, ranking regression analysis was used. This analysis showed that optimism weakened emotional exhaustion and burnouts, and total burnouts, which is one of protecting factors The results of this study contributes to the generalization that factors such as excessive works, the conflict between worker and clients, and violence of clients, and so on are effecting burnouts of social welfare officers. The results of this study are similar to those of proceeding researches on the burnouts of social workers, nurses and ambulanceman. Proceeding researches have not focused on optimism which is one of protecting factors, but optimism should be considered the important factor because of that optimism weakens burnout of social welfare officers was found out through this study. So programs which can increase optimism of social welfare officers are required.
