The Impact on Customer Behavioral Intention in Hotel's Sustainable Management: Focused on Chinese tourists

Tourism which is called Industry without chimneys is considered as new growth engine that could rise economic growth and nation brand. The purpose of study is to analyze how sustainable management of hotel industry influences on customer behavioral intention. For the empirical study, we distributed questionnaires to Chinese tourists that hold a large majority in domestic foreign tourists and made them evaluate level of sustainable management of hotels which they stayed. By using collected questionnaires, we drew empirical result through SEM model. Result shows that economic and environmental sustainable management have positive impacts on customer satisfaction. But social sustainable management does not have significant impact on customer satisfaction. Although economic, environmental and social sustainable management do not have significant impact on customer behavioral intention, it revealed economic and environmental sustainable management influence customer behavioral intention with customer satisfaction as mediating variable. The implication of the research is that through comprehensive endeavor considering sustainability, hotel industry needs raise the customer satisfaction and it finally makes possible to raise customer behavioral intention.
