인공지능기술의 특허네트워크 분석을 통한융합패턴 연구

The purpose of this study is to analyze convergence patterns of artificial intelligence between industries, technologies, countries, and assignees using patent network analysis. With this aim, the international patent databaseof artificial intelligence technology filed for the past 10 years was built, and the IPC was matched with industry and technology classification. Citation patent databases were extracted to analyze convergence patterns between countries and assignees separately. The results from the analysis showed that the industry and technology convergence networksarestrongly connected by focusing on the ‘Office machinery and computers’ industry and ‘Electrical engineering: Computer technology’. As a result of the analysis of convergence patterns between countries and assignees, the degree centrality between the US and Japan was the highest, and IBM had the greatest influence among other assignees. This study is meaningful to help identify the technical fields and industrial fields that are currently the key areas of artificial intelligence technology and to identify countries and application organizations that are strongly impacted. In the future, it is necessary to carry out research throughan open innovation strategy using technology introduction and technology transfer.
