정보시스템 인터페이스 연구에 있어서 디자인 사고와 디자인 과학의 활용

The importance of creativity has been emphasized in the transition from industrial society to knowledge-based society. Recently, design thinking has attracted great attention as one of the ways to increase the creativity of the organization. This study is to present a methodology of design thinking in the development of information systems, especially user interfaces, by combining with design science. To validate the effectiveness of the design thinking approach, we held a design thinking workshop in which participants were asked to design news comment evaluation buttons to improve their current functions. In general, people evaluate news comment quality based on two different dimensions-rational and emotional. However, the current evaluation systems has only one button such as “like” button, thus rational and emotional dimensions were mixed up in the review of news comment quality. Through the design thinking workshop, participants had intensive discussions and generated diverse ideas based on observation, ideation, and prototyping and finally suggested new designs of comment evaluation buttons.
