Relationships between Educators’ Competencies and Learners’ Performance: Focused on the Mediation Effects of Education and Training Satisfaction

In a high-performance orientation, most organizations invest in valuable education and training programs to improve and secure their human resource competencies. The military is no exception. Thus, this paper aims to build a comprehensive model taking into consideration military educators' competencies, educational satisfaction, and educational performance. The results show that among the military educators' competencies, lecture management capability and communication have significant effects on the education satisfaction. In addition, the military educators’ fundamental competencies, passion for education, affection, and attention to learners have significant effects on education satisfaction. Learners’ satisfaction mediated the relationships between of lecture management capability, passion for education, affection and attention to learners, and self-development, and subjective educational performance. Additionally, education satisfaction also mediated the relationships of lecture management capability, communication, passion for education, affection and attention to learners, and self-development, with objective educational performance.
Abstract
