중·고등학생의 학생 인권보장 인식에 영향을 주는 학교환경 분석

The purposes of this study are to understand the relationship between human rights perception of adolescents and their school environments related human rights experiences. Using data from the Korean Survey on the Rights of Children and Youth in 2016, it was first analyzed factors associated with human rights perception of adolescents. Then, it was conducted a regression analyses on the relationship between human rights perception of adolescents and their school environments related human rights experiences. The results are as follows. First, regression models show that the positive relationship in school, the positive assessment of the purpose of education in school, and the experience to participate in the management of school rules are statistically significant in determining the human rights perception of adolescents. Second, protective factors of the school environment variables on the human rights perception of adolescents were the positive assessment of the purpose of education in school and the experience to participate in the management of school rules, but risk factors of the school environment variables on the human rights perception of adolescents were the abuse from teachers and disclosure of their private life in school.
