The Interaction Design of Intelligent Microwave Oven Based on User Experience and Demands

초록

With the development of big data and human-computer interaction techniques, the usability and user experience of microwave oven are continuously evolving. It needs strong interactive content attributes and interaction to meet users’ needs in different places or scenes. The interactive design of intelligent microwave ovens focuses on user-product interaction, information expression and emotional experience. Microwave ovens adopt the interactive design methods of PACT-P system. It means that four elements of People, Activity, Context and Technology are fully used and interconnected to realize such goals as natural interaction, available value and emotional experience. In the meantime, developing intelligent microwave ovens which are “available, handy and wanted” by users. This research combines interactive designs of LG, Panasonic, Haier, Midea and Galanz, and analyzes the availability and interactive design strategy of microwave ovens at a time when artificial intelligence becomes the mainstream. Research technology road map: including competitive brand analysis, future development trend, own brand analysis, user group analysis, product UI design, UX design and ID design; Research goal: through competitive brand analysis, finding development mentality and design idea of competitive products, in order to realize creative concept of own brand and find potential demand points of market and users through analysis; Research method: making product data report analysis, matrix graph location analysis and radar map evaluating analysis through investigation and survey of company consultancy and internet intelligence collection, in order to extract key words of product design and establish product intention model. Based on this, this research takes SANYO miniaturized intelligent microwave oven design as an example and develops miniaturized microwave oven which can offer users with interactive experience.
