작가주의 디자인의 창작과 표현 경향 연구

Recently, Interest in the auteurism design is increasing as the social and technological environment to accommodate artistic values has been established since the appearance of designer as author, which can be called design as art in the latter half of the 20th century. Therefore, the aim of this study is to help to presenting inspiration to designers and demonstrating their artistic competence by understanding the meaning of the auteurism design, the way of creation, and the tendency of expression. The research method is based on literature, monographs, academic papers, articles, previous research, internet data and overseas exhibitions, art fair and other materials were also surveyed. The analysis mainly focuses on the features of formative expression revealed in the works, and interviews of the artist’s unique production process were referred in some cases. As a result of the research, auteurism design can be classified depending on the expression way. first, Utilizing digital technology in the idea and production process. second, demonstrating handcrafted craftsmanship in selection and production of materials. Finally, conducting sensory experiments for human emotional activation. The formative aspects in these works have been boldly attempted to combine design elements without hesitation, in accepting formal and decorative elements that have been somewhat neglected in the design. Finally, designer have a tendency of using their own imagination and storytelling to dissolve analog sensibility in works.
