An Exploratory Study on the Failure Model of Founders on Starting a Business: Systems Thinking Approach

Most founders have failed. Why do many startups fail ? We can consider there is a single-minded thought that people easily think about entrepreneurship. Anyone can start a business, but very few people succeed in starting a business. This is because the process of entrepreneurship has a complex structure beyond simple structure. In this paper, the structure of entrepreneurship is approached by system dynamics. The structure explains the interaction of the founder with the entrepreneurial environment and the entrepreneurial resource through causal loop diagram. This paper is an exploratory study on the factors of start - up failure. It is used to analyze the entrepreneurial structure based on the theory of reasoned action and ser-M theory. It will give the meaningful points through systems thinking approach to the people who prepare for start-up.
