A Study on Chinese Entrepreneurship Education Regime -Focused on entrepreneurship platform-

In order to solve the youth employment problem and to accelerate economic structural reform in the New Normal situation, the Chinese government emphasizes entrepreneurship nationwide. In September 2014, Prime Minister Lee, Keqiang began to refer to “the entrepreneurship of the masses and the innovation of the masses”, and plans for supporting the new business start-ups are being discussed in detail. There are active entrepreneurship activities of college students, and high-quality jobs are being created in future growth industries such as internet banking, e-commerce, transportation services, O2O and drone in China. As a background of this success, it is necessary to study the entrepreneurial education system of China. Chinese entrepreneurship education has not been long in history, but the government has strategically implemented concrete and practical goals such as solving youth employment problems. The Chinese entrepreneurship education system focuses on building a platform to support entrepreneurial activities rather than establishing a systematic curriculum. Thus, its capacity building performance is highly effective. To investigate the practical entrepreneurial education system in China, this study analyzes the theoretical discussions about goals that are emphasized in the recent entrepreneurship education at first. Secondly, this study organizes the transition of China’s entrepreneurship education system. Thirdly, a case study on start-up support platforms such as Maker Space and Crowd-funding, which the Chinese 중국 창업 교육 체제 연구 163 government attaches importance to establishing the entrepreneurship education system, is conducted. As a result of the case study, the Chinese government is spreading the Maker Space model to Chinese high schools and universities as a part of the establishment of the entrepreneurial education system, thereby encouraging the young people of China to voluntarily construct their entrepreneurial competence through initiative activities. In addition, Chinese government are establishing entrepreneurship education system by promoting the development of Crowd-funding platform as a way to promote micro entrepreneurship or social entrepreneurship beyond the limit of existing Chinese financial system. In the Chinese entrepreneurship education system, the students can acquire the competence related to knowhow to start up business such as need for achievement, opportunity identification, self efficacy and marketing creativity. These competencies are difficult to cultivate through existing curriculum, and they are an area of emphasis in modern entrepreneurship education.
