프레피 룩 아동복 디자인 개발 연구

초록
현대 패션은 시대의 가치관을 반영해주는 역할을 하며 개인의 감성에 따른 차별성과 다양성을 패션 자체의 특징으로 함축하고 있다. 이러한 현상은 성인복 뿐만 아니라 아동복에도 큰 영향을 준다. 현대 아동복은 엘리트 문화의 라이프 스타일을 반영하고 상위 문화의 이미지를 가지고 있으며, 유행의 흐름에 크게 변동되지 않는 프레피 룩(Preppy look)이 새롭게 재해석되면서 부각되고 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 프레피 룩의 차별화된 디자인을 구축함으로써 국내 아동복 시장에 새로운 활성화 방안을 확립하는데 그 목적을 두었으며, 향후 국내 아동복 패션 시장의 지속적인 발전 가능성을 모색하고 색다른 가치를 제공하는 것에 기여하고자 한다. 본 연구는 프레피 룩 아동복 디자인 개발 연구를 위하여 아동복의 특성에 대해 이론적 고찰을 한 후 프레피 룩의 개념과 프레피 룩의 형태적 특성과 내적 특성에 대해 분석한 후 현대 아동복 브랜드에 나타난 프레피 룩 디자인 사례 연구를 통해 고찰한다. 연구 방법으로는 이론적 배경과 선행연구 분석을 위하여 국, 내외 학위 논문과 단행본, 학회지, 정기 간행물, 인터넷 자료 등을 통해 본 연구를 위한 분석 기준을 마련한다. 프레피 룩의 표현을 형태적 특성과 내적 특성으로 분석 후 형태적 특성을 실루엣, 아이템, 소재, 문양, 색채로 분류하고 내적 특성을 정통성, 동조성, 실용성으로 분석한다. 이를 토대로 작품 7점을 제작한다. 이러한 프레피 룩은 향후에도 다양한 방향과 시점에서 연구되어 국내 아동복에서 지속적인 변주를 보여줄 것으로 예측된다.
Abstract
Modern fashion reflects the values of the time, and the difference and diversity based on individual emotion implies the property of fashion itself. Such phenomenon influence not only the adult fashion but also the children's wear. Modern children's wear reflect life style of elite culture, has the image of upper class culture, and has been emphasizing on preppy look that is reinterpreted and does not change over the trend. Thus, this study aims to create differentiated design of preppy look and to find a new vitalization measure on domestic children's wear market. Also, the study aims to contribute to seeking possibility of sustainable development of domestic children's fashion market and to provide new value. This study conducted theoretical consideration on the characteristics of children's wear for design research of preppy look for children's wear, analyzed the concept of preppy look and formal, inner characteristics of preppy look, and conducted preppy look design case studies in modern children's wear fashion brands. As for the study method, to examine theoretical background and analyze the previous researches, the study prepared analysis standard for the study through domestic and foreign academic dissertations, books, academic journal, publication, and internet material. After analyzing the expression of preppy look by formal and internal characteristics, the formal characteristics were classified into silhouette, item, material, pattern and color while internal characteristics were classified into affectivity, synchronism and usability. Based on the analysis, total 7 pieces were designed. Such preppy look will be examined in various views and methods in the future and will show consistent transformation in domestic children's wear market.
