초록
In the period of child development, the private area is necessary for emotional stability, exchange, intensive learning, and play. Especially, the private area using natural factors of children’s facilities has a positive impact on child development. The purpose of this study is to propose a space design based on 'biophilic design' of refuge, private area of children 's facilities for child development. This study conducted literature survey, case study and questionnaire survey to investigate characteristics of space design based on 'biophilic design' of refuge in children's facility. The conclusion of this study is as follows: First, the refuge in children's facilities requires space design that is easy to view and observe. Second, the refuge in the children's facilities requires a space design to view the natural ecosystem. Third, the refuge in children's facilities needs space design that can induce interest by using natural elements. Fourth, the refuge in children's facilities needs space design to experience the sensory information of children. Fifth, the refuge in children's facilities needs space design that can experience in natural ecosystem. Sixth, the refuge in children's facilities needs space design to provide various light environment. Seventh, the refuge in children's facilities requires safe space design.
