초록
The purpose of this study is to investigate if three kinds of internet media addiction influence employees’ job satisfaction and organizational citizenship behavior. Further, this study examines the impact of workplace stress on internet media addiction and if perceived organizational support can be an organizational factor moderating the relationship between workplace stress and three kinds of internet media addiction. To this end, this study collected data from 305 employees in Korean companies through a survey method. Results showed that first, the more stressed employees become in the workplace, the more they are likely to become addicted to social network services, video games, or internet pornography. Second, the more employees become addicted to social network services, video games or internet pornography, the weaker their job satisfaction or organizational citizenship behavior. Finally, when employees have higher perceived organizational support in the workplace, workplace stress has a weaker impact on the three kinds of internet media addiction.
