Efficient Meshless Method for Eigenvalue Analysis of Plates with Clamped and Simply Supported Boundary Conditions

초록

A new formulation of the non-dimensional dynamic influence function method, which is a type of the meshless method and was developed by the author, is introduced to efficiently extract accurate eigenvalues of plates with both clamped and simply supported boundaries. Originally, the Non-dimensional dynamic influence function method requires the inefficient process of calculating the determinant of the system matrix of a plate in the frequency range of interest. A new approach for overcoming this inefficiency is proposed in the paper and the validity and accuracy is shown in a verification example.

Abstract
