주관적 규범이 창업태도와 지각된 행동통제를 매개로 창업의도에 미치는 영향: Linan and Chen(2009)’s EIM을 중심으로

[Purpose] The purpose of this empirical study is to understand what factors determine entrepreneurial intention among university students based on Ajzen’s Theory of Planned Behavior and Linan and Chen’s Entrepreneurial Intention Model(EIM) and focus on the development of the effective entrepreneurship education. [Methodology] The study applied the Linan and Chen’s Entrepreneurial Intention Questionnaire (EIQ) based on Ajzen’s Theory of Planned Behavior. Data were collected from a sample of 245 university students. The confirmatory factor analysis can be used in the reliability and variability analysis of the questionnaire. The hypotheses are tested by using structural equations models and sobel test. [Findings] Personal attitude and perceived behavioral control positively affect entrepreneurial intention but subjective norm does not directly influence entrepreneurial intention. Subjective norm positively affects personal attitude and perceived behavioral control, and personal attitude has a positive impact on perceived behavior control. [Implications] Implications for educators and practitioners are as follows. This is the first study that we used the Linan & Chen’s entrepreneurial intention model. Results demonstrated that subjective norm influences the entrepreneurial intention through the antecedents of the entrepreneurial intention. The results also confirmed that personal attitudes are the most effect on the entrepreneurial intention. In addition, this study provides implications for policy makers and limitation and areas for future research.
