국내 성인대상 무형식학습 연구 동향: 1997~2017년 국내 학술지 게재 논문을 중심으로

Informal learning itself was a learning method also it was used in formal and nonformal education intentionally and unintentionally. And with emphasizing knowledge-creating and sharing in organizations, the importance of informal learning had been increased. According to this trend many researchers in HRD had explored the constructs, facilitators, and consequences of informal learning. As long as the various studies about informal learning were published, it had been difficult to identify a big picture and directions for future research. So we investigated the research trends of informal learning in the field of HRD and lifelong education in Korea. We constructed a frameworks for trends analyses based on theoretical reviews. And 120 articles published in 45 Korean journals were collected and analyzed according to our frameworks which contained characteristics of articles, research methods & topics, etc. We performed frequency analysis and social network analysis for investigate the research trends. The results wore in the followings: First, many articles used the definitions of informal learning focused on intention, planning, self-directedness and interaction with others. And workplace learning and HRD were a main field in which a lot of studies about informal learning had been published. Second, many studies collected research data from 20-40 and 40-60 year old workers. Third, main topics of the studies were the practices of informal learning, results of informal learning and learning transfer. Based on these results, suggestions and directions for future studies were discussed.
