직업교육훈련 교원의 교수역량 모델 개발: 한국폴리텍대학을 중심으로

The purpose of this study was to develop a teaching competency model that is required for Korea Polytechnics' faculty members to improve the qualitative outcomes of Vocational Education and Training by enhancing the faculty members’competency. For this study, first, literature research was conducted, and teaching competency and competency elements were extracted. And then, a draft for the model of teaching competency considered appropriate to Korea Polytechnics was drawn through review from two experts, which is composed of six competencies and thirty-one competency elements. To ensure reliability and validity, the criteria for selecting experts were set up and twenty-one faculty members of excellence in teaching competency and seven experts from outside were participated for the Delphi survey. The Delphi survey was repetitively conducted three times in a semi-structured questionnaire via e-mail. As a result, seven teaching competencies with twenty-eight competency elements were found. The seven teaching competencies are basic competencies, curriculum development, instructional planning and preparation, instructional execution, learner evaluation, management of academic affairs, employment, and equipment handling, and exchanges and cooperation with the outside. Based on the result, following survey for the application of the competency model was suggested to increase competitiveness of the faculties by improving the teaching competency in Korea Polytechnics.
